बुरा जो देखन मैं चला, बुरा न मिलिया कोय।

जो दिल खोजा आपना, मुझसे बुरा न कोय।। 

अर्थ : जब मैं इस संसार में बुराई खोजने चला तो मुझे : कोई बुरा न मिला। जब मैंने अपने मन में झाँक कर देखा तो पाया कि मुझसे बुरा कोई नहीं है।

When I went to find evil in this world, I did not find any evil. When I looked inside my mind, I found that there is no one worse than me.

माला फेरत जुग गया, मिटा न मन का फेर । कर का मनका डार दे, मन का मनका फेर ।।

अर्थ: केवल माला फेरने से कुछ नहीं होने वाला बिना मन में शुचिता लाये शुद्ध विचार तथा जगत कल्याण की कामना किये बिना व्यक्ति का आत्म कल्याण (परम कल्याण) कभी नहीं हो सकता.

Nothing can be done just by circling the garland, without bringing purity in the mind, pure thoughts and wishing for the welfare of the world, a person's self-welfare (ultimate welfare) can never happen.

दुःख में सुमिरन सब करें सुख में करै न कोय । जो सुख में सुमिरन करे तो दुःख काहे होय ॥

अर्थ : दुःख में परमात्मा को सभी याद करते हैं, परन्तु सुख में कोई नहीं । यदि सुख में भी परमात्मा को याद रखते, तो दुःख होता ही नहीं ।

Everyone remembers God in sorrow, but no one in happiness. If we remember God even in happiness, then there would be no sorrow

माटी कहे कुम्हार से, तू क्या रोधे मोहे। 

एक दिन ऐसा आयेगा, में रोंधुगी तोहे ॥

अर्थ हमें विनम्र और दयालु होना चाहिए और हर चीज से सीखने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए। आप दूसरों के साथ जो करते हैं वह आपके पास वापस आएगा

The earth says to the potter, "why are you | trampling on me now?"

One day will come when I will trample on you.

MEANING

We must be humble and kind, and try to learn from everything. What you do to others will return to you.

काल करे सो आज कर, आज करे सो अब ।

पल में प्रलय होएगी, बहुरि करेगा कब ॥

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी समय की महत्ता बताते हुए कहते हैं कि जो कल करना है उसे आज करो और और जो आज करना है उसे अभी करो, कुछ ही समय में जीवन ख़त्म हो जायेगा फिर तुम क्या कर पाओगे !!

Explaining the importance of time, Kabir Das ji says that what you have to do tomorrow, do it today and what you have to do today, do it now, life will end in no time, then what will you be able to do!!
